Horror shows

Horror shows were rather rare offering in radio history, since most of the radio stations were preparing shows for wide range of audience, but as part of mystery shows the thrilling stories were broadcast by the networks. Careers of such stars as Vincent Price or Boris Karloff were linked to radio shows, because horror in radio was very easy - audio effects plus human imagination can build far more effective influence than TV shows.
